Matt Walz, Chief Executive Officer
Matt brings more than 20 years of software and leadership experience in the life sciences industry. Matt started his career as a developer and held various technical and leadership roles at Rollins Corporation, PSCI, Microsoft, Morgan Lewis, and Datalabs. In 2006, Matt co-founded NextDocs, which grew to be a global leader in clinical, quality, and regulatory document management, where he served as CTO, CSO, and Board Director for 9 years. Before joining Trialbee, Matt spent 5 years as General Manager for Life Sciences and VP Strategic Accounts for Aurea Software, which had acquired NextDocs.
Carlos Rodríguez Martí, Chief Operating Officer/Deputy Chief Executive Officer
Carlos brings more than 20 years of finance experience in the life-science industry. After working 6 years as financial auditor at Deloitte, Carlos started his career in pharma with Amgen, working during 10 years in several assignments in Spain, The Netherlands and Portugal. Later he spent 4 years as CFO for a mid-size pharma company. Before joining Trialbee, Carlos worked in the CRO industry for 7 years as TFS group CFO, building the foundation for company growth by leading merge and acquisitions for TFS’ headquarters, implementing an ERP, and building a Shared Service Center across Europe and the US.
Lollo Eriksson, Chief Strategy Officer
Lollo has a 30-year successful career with Merck & Co., Inc behind him, having joined this company after completing training as a clinical pharmacologist. He has held various leading positions within Merck Research Laboratories (MRL), including clinical pharmacology, clinical research development and clinical research operations across geographies. In addition to this, he has 8 years of executive leadership experience from the global CRO business focusing on study feasibility, study-start-up, patient recruitment and health care alliances and acquisitions. His main areas of focus include patient engagement and novel cost-effective recruitment strategies.
Radha Mawrie, VP of Trial Strategy
Radha has 15 years of experience with leadership positions in digital patient enrollment, real-world data, and HCP marketing. Prior to Trialbee, she built and coached a best-in-class patient research function at Acurian (PPD) with data-driven feasibility and recruitment strategy capabilities focused globally on multiple therapeutic areas. At IMS Health (IQVIA), she was the innovation lead for global oncology data and analytics for life sciences clients, steered the global oncology thought leadership initiatives and defined the real-world data capabilities by integrating diverse assets into a cohesive solution. At Reed Elsevier, she drove the digital transformation of content for HCPs with a sharp focus on clinical information use at point-of-care.
George Dorsett, Vice President Sales, Europe
George has been implementing novel data strategies for the last 10 years. His primary focus is on delivering high-quality innovative solutions which ensure all stakeholders achieve their goals.
He brings with him extensive experience working for the Global Leader in Technology Consulting and for BI Provider GlobalData. Having won multiple awards for Business Development Leadership and Global Account Management he has been able to rapidly scale the Trialbee business since joining in March 2018. Throughout George’s time he has worked for organizations such as Gartner, Unilever, and William Reed in various Sales Leadership roles scaling businesses working with Fortune 500, NASDAQ and AIM Listed companies.
Martin Kilsgård, Head of Product
Martin has worked within software development and digital transformation for almost 15 years. He has held various leadership positions within digital product management and has a proven track record as a key strategist, coach, and innovator. Martin has broad experience from large global organizations as well as small start-ups. Before joining Trialbee, Martin worked within the life sciences industry, initially as Product Manager at the telehealth provider Docly and then as a Senior Business Consultant at CGI (digitalizing government healthcare in Sweden). Martin holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Lund’s University (Sweden) and is a certified Product Owner (Scrum Alliance).
Denise Wikström, Finance & HR Manager
Denise has spent almost her entire career in the professional services industry. Denise started her career in financial auditing and has over six years of experience of financial auditing in various industries. Denise has also worked in the talent management industry. Before joining Trialbee, Denise spent numerous years abroad, most recently in New York. Denise has a proven track record of running strategic initiatives in large organizations. Denise holds a degree from Lund’s University (Sweden) and is also studying Business Administration and Management at Columbia University in New York City, NY.
Lauren Sunshine, Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships
Lauren Sunshine is the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships at Trialbee, where she is building out the partner program to expand clinical trial access to patients around the world. Prior to Trialbee, Lauren led strategic partnerships at AiCure, forming impactful relationships with CRO’s and other tech providers to drive new growth opportunities through innovation.
Previous to entering the clinical trials industry, Lauren worked at Epic Systems on their Laboratory team to implement EMR solutions within major hospital systems. She is passionate about leveraging technology to gain powerful patient-centered insights that lead to improved access to quality healthcare.
Lauren is active in New York City’s startup community as a member of TiE’s New York chapter, where she helps mentor and advise new entrepreneurs. She also is the Event’s Chair on the associate board of Urban Resource Institute, where she raises awareness and funding to support the homeless and survivors of domestic violence in NYC. She studied Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Tulane University in New Orleans.
