Matt Walz

Matt brings more than 20 years of software and leadership experience in the life sciences industry. Matt started his career as a developer and held various technical and leadership roles at Rollins Corporation, PSCI, Microsoft, Morgan Lewis, and Datalabs. In 2006, Matt co-founded NextDocs, which grew to be a global leader in clinical, quality, and regulatory document management, where he served as CTO, CSO, and Board Director for 9 years. Before joining Trialbee, Matt spent 5 years as General Manager for Life Sciences and VP Strategic Accounts for Aurea Software, which had acquired NextDocs.

Carlos Rodríguez Martí
Chief Financial Officer
Carlos brings more than 20 years of finance experience in the life-science industry. After working 6 years as financial auditor at Deloitte, Carlos started his career in pharma with Amgen, working during 10 years in several assignments in Spain, The Netherlands and Portugal. Later he spent 4 years as CFO for a mid-size pharma company. Before joining Trialbee, Carlos worked in the CRO industry for 7 years as TFS group CFO, building the foundation for company growth by leading merge and acquisitions for TFS’ headquarters, implementing an ERP, and building a Shared Service Center across Europe and the US.

Lollo Eriksson
Strategic Advisor
Lollo has a 30-year successful career with Merck & Co., Inc behind him, having joined this company after completing training as a clinical pharmacologist. He has held various leading positions within Merck Research Laboratories (MRL), including clinical pharmacology, clinical research development and clinical research operations across geographies. In addition to this, he has 8 years of executive leadership experience from the global CRO business focusing on study feasibility, study-start-up, patient recruitment and health care alliances and acquisitions. His main areas of focus include patient engagement and novel cost-effective recruitment strategies.

Bill Abbott
Vice President Sales, US
Bill Abbott has over 25 years of experience developing novel business and technology solutions that support pharmaceutical research, development and commercialization. Bill is currently Vice President, Sales US at Trialbee. Previously Bill led business development at Acurian, Elligo Health Research and Verana Health.
Bill has extensive experience in solutions impacting clinical development, most recently patient recruitment, to biopharma firms ranging from start-up through global top 20. Bill has spoken at numerous conferences over the last 5 years delivering deep insights around innovative approaches to patient recruitment.

Denise Wikström
Director, People & Talent
Denise has spent almost her entire career in the professional services industry. Denise started her career in financial auditing and has over six years of experience of financial auditing in various industries. Denise has also worked in the talent management industry. Before joining Trialbee, Denise spent numerous years abroad, most recently in New York. Denise has a proven track record of running strategic initiatives in large organizations. Denise holds a degree from Lund’s University (Sweden) and is also studying Business Administration and Management at Columbia University in New York City, NY.

Martin Kilsgård
Head of Product
Martin has worked within software development and digital transformation for almost 15 years. He has held various leadership positions within digital product management and has a proven track record as a key strategist, coach, and innovator. Martin has broad experience from large global organizations as well as small start-ups. Before joining Trialbee, Martin worked within the life sciences industry, initially as Product Manager at the telehealth provider Docly and then as a Senior Business Consultant at CGI (digitalizing government healthcare in Sweden). Martin holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Lund’s University (Sweden) and is a certified Product Owner (Scrum Alliance).

Vice President, Software Engineering
Lars has more than 20 years of experience leading engineering teams and building software products. He has transformed several teams and organizations around agile principles from large corporations to small startups.
Prior to joining Trialbee Lars has been CTO in Nordija, Siteimprove and headed a software department at YouSee. Lars also established his own software company and worked as a freelance software developer in many organizations.
Lars holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor in Mathematics from the University of Copenhagen.

Gaynor has over 20 years of experience in communications, leading patient recruitment and patient engagement strategy at Ogilvy, MMG and Labcorp Drug Development. Developing complex but tailored communications programs that are executed all over the world, Gaynor combines communications, clinical trial and therapeutic expertise with up-to-date unparalleled regulatory insight in over 70 countries.
Gaynor combines industry knowledge of feasibility and patient recruitment/retention with outstanding healthcare communications expertise. Her therapeutic expertise spans women’s health, cardiology, gastroenterology, pain, CNS/Mental health, oncology and endocrinology to name but a few. In addition, her experience working within vulnerable patient populations (particularly paediatric and mental health) is well recognised within the industry.
In 2012 she was named as one of Pharma Voice’s Top 100 of the Most Inspiring People in the Industry.

Senior Director, Strategic Partnerships
Maggie Adamski brings 25 years’ experience in patient recruitment and engagement solutions to Trialbee in a variety of roles spanning business development, strategy and implementation of global patient recruitment programs.
Over the years, Maggie has contributed to the evolution of addressing patient recruitment challenges within big pharma, CROs, agencies as well as SaaS providers. Previous to Trialbee, Maggie held patient recruitment positions for companies including Roche, Syneos, Quintiles and ePharmaSolutions.
Recently Maggie had the privilege of interviewing patients and caregivers across many conditions in the design of protocols and patient recruitment strategies while at ICON.

Vice President, Global Sales
Jo joins Trialbee with over 25 years of career accomplishments spanning both operational and commercial sides of clinical trials, including serving as Executive Director of Business Development at Signant Health, the evidence generation company that supports clinical studies across traditional, virtual, and hybrid trial models. Driving deeper relationships with Trialbee’s growing customer base while expanding adoption of its flagship SaaS-based product, Trialbee Honey, is Jo’s domain. Her sense of urgency around engaging her Trialbee trial strategy and operations colleagues to solve sponsors’ and CROs’ critical patient recruitment challenges is the ideal role for a go-getter like Jo.
While Senior Director Platform Solutions at Parexel, a leading global clinical research organization (CRO), Jo focused on end-to-end solutions sales and customer success. Enterprise sales is Jo’s super power, which drives Trialbee’s strategy to penetrate large pharmas as well as general high growth from mid-sized to small pharmas and dynamic biotechs.

Vice President, Marketing
is passionate about connecting patients and their families to clinical research opportunities. As a marketing leader and team builder, he brings more than 20 years of technology brand marketing, sales enablement, and thought leadership experience to help Trialbee customers realize the full potential of their patient recruitment and enrollment strategies. Kris believes marketing’s role is to tell stories that illustrate not what Trialbee does, but what study team members and site staff achieve using the Honey platform and expert patient matching services.
Prior to joining Trialbee, Kris helped establish the validity of the early-years eCOA market at PHT Corp. (now Clario), built and led the marketing function at DrugDev (an IQVIA company), created and launched the Signant Health brand following the merger of Bracket and CRF Health, and most recently transformed awareness and lead generation at ClinOne.
Kris and his wife reside in Boston with young twin boys and a bouncy dog who keep them happy, busy, and laughing (and often tired).
